Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Viking Camp mobile application ("App") operated by Viking Camp ("we", "our", or "us").

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Use of the App

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or offensive reviews
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Scrape or collect data from the App without permission

User-Generated Content

Reviews and Ratings

• You retain ownership of reviews you submit.
• By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your review within the App.
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or are inappropriate.

Content Standards

Reviews must:

• Be based on genuine personal experience
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Not include personal information about others
• Not be spam or promotional in nature

Points of Interest Information

• Information about points of interest (locations, descriptions, opening hours) is provided for informational purposes only.
• We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all information is current or complete.
• Always verify critical information (opening hours, road conditions, safety) through official sources before traveling.

Offline Maps

• Offline map data is provided by Mapbox and is subject to their terms of use.
• Downloaded map regions are for personal use only.

Payment and Refunds

• The App is available for a one-time purchase price as listed on the App Store.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Information about points of interest is accurate or up-to-date
• The App is suitable for navigation in remote areas

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Important: The App is a travel guide, not a safety tool. Always exercise caution when traveling in Iceland, especially in remote areas. Check weather and road conditions at vedur.is and road.is.

Intellectual Property

• The App, its design, and original content are owned by Viking Camp.
• Mapbox map data is subject to Mapbox and OpenStreetMap licensing.
• Point of interest photos and descriptions may be subject to third-party rights.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms, without prior notice.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
